The Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare Department, Assam, has announce pre-matric scholarship for Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare Assam for the financial year 2024-25, along with the Simon Singh Horo Special Post-Matric Scholarship.
Under this scheme, Tea Tribe students eligible for the pre-matric scholarship will receive Rs 3000, and those eligible for the Simon Singh Horo Special Post-Matric Scholarship will receive Rs 10,000.
These scholarships, which provide education and financial support to students, will be accepting online applications stariing from 1 July to 15 August 2024.

Eligibility Criteria
Here are the eligiblity cretia to avail the Pre-Matric Scholarship For Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare Assam:
- Must be a permanent resident of Assam
- Must beong to Tea Tribes and Adivasi Community
- Annual family income should not exceed Rs. 5.00 Lakh per annum (to be submitted by the Parent/Guardian as per format)
- Applicants applying repeatedly from different sub-divisions shall be considered.
