In response to escalating temperatures and concerns for students, the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Government has issued a notification regarding school timings. Effective from May 27th, 2024, all Government, Provincialised, and Private Elementary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools under BTR will see immediate change to their schedules.
New School Timings

| 3 | HS/HS Schools | 7:30 AM to 12 Noon |
The notification, issued by the BTR Government states: “As per instructions received from the competent authority and in the interest of public well-being the normal school timing of Government, Provincialised and Private Elementary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools under BTR is hereby re-scheduled the school timing as follows w.e.f. 27th May/2024 until further order due to continuous rise of Mercury Level and Prevailing scorching heat.”
