All India Sainik School Entrance Examination Notification
On December 24, 2024, the NTA issued a notification announcing the conduct of the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for admissions to Class 6 and Class 9, inviting students with an interest in the military to apply for the 2025-26 academic year. The students can apply in the official website of NTA.
As per the notification, the online application for the AISSEE 2025 started on December 24, 2024, and will remain open until January 13, 2025 (5:00 PM). The last date for online payment of the application fee is January 14, 2025 (11:50 PM).

Eligibility Criteria For All India Sainik School Entrance Examination
To appear in AISSEE Exam 2025 to get admission at Sainik Schools, students must need to meet the eligibility criteria.
Class VI Eligibility Criteria
- The Students must be between the ages of 10 and 12 years as of 31st March 2025.
- Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. Age criteria is same as for boys.
Class IX Eligibility Criteria
- The Students must be between the ages of 13 and 15 years as of 31st March 2025.
- Admission for Girls is open for Class IX, subject to availability of vacancies Age criteria is same as boys.
- Additionally, candidates should have passed Class VIII from a recognized school.

- Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4kb-30kb) in JPG format.

- Date of Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
- Domicile Certificate.
- Caste/Community/ Category Certificate (if applicable).
- Certificate of service (for Defence category-serving) and PPO for Exservicemen, if applicable.
- Certificate from the Principal certifying that the applicant is studying in the approved New Sainik School. (Applicable only for those who are studying currently in approved New Sainik Schools).
