Political Career
Nirmal K. Brahma is an experienced leader and dedicated social worker. He serves as President of the Chirang District Committee, UPPL. Brahma is a Former Legislative Assembly (MCLA) BTC member from 2015 to 2020 at Nilchima costituency. In 2020, Brahma was renominated for the MCLA portfolio but faced a tough challenge from James Basumatary, of the Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) and ultimately losing the election.
