Lowerpara Village under Panbari VCDC, has been named the Cleanest Village in the Bijni Sub-Division of Chirang district. This title was awarded by Smt. Kriti Chachra, IAS, SDO (C) Bijni, in recognition of Lowerpara’s commitment to cleanliness and environmental preservation.
Prior to the third phase Lok Sabha Election 2024 for the Kokrajhar LS Seat, the village actively took part in promoting green elections by participating the Cleanest Village and Cleanest Polling Station competition organized by Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP), Bijni Election District.
Lowerpara Village is situated near the Rani Ghat Picnic Spot and Manas National Park, which makes it even more fascinating.
