Durand Cup 2024 Schedule: The 133rd edition of the Durand Cup is scheduled to be held from 27 July to 31 August 2024. This oldest football tournament in Asia is also referred to as the Indian Oil Durand Cup, as it is sponsored by the Indian Oil Corporation.

Durand Cup Teams
In the 132nd edition of the Durand Cup, there were 24 teams in total, divided into six groups, with each group having four teams. Among these teams were 12 teams from the Indian Super League, as well as teams from the I-League, I-League 2, Armed Forces, 2 overseas teams, and a Regional Team.
It is expected that the 2024 Durand Cup will follow a similar format, with all ISL teams mandate to participate. Furthermore, the newly joined ISL team Mohammedan will also be participating, which will bring the total number of ISL teams to 13 this time.
The teams participating in the Durand Cup will be updated at a later time, once the officials have confirmed the information.

Durand Cup 2024 Venues
This year, Jamshedpur and Shillong join Kokrajhar and Kolkata as host cities for the group stage fixtures. Kolkata, the primary venue, will host three groups, while Jamshedpur, Shillong, and Kokrajhar SAI stadium will each host one group.
The tournament will feature a round-robin league format followed by knockout stages, culminating in the finals at Kolkata’s Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan. A total of 43 matches will be played, with the top teams from each group, along with the two best second-placed teams, advancing to the knockout phase.

Mohun Bagan SG claimed victory in the 2023 Durand Cup after beating East Bengal in the final on 3 September at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (VYBK), also known as Salt Lake Stadium, in Kolkata.
