Assam Gunotsav 2025
Gunotsav is a school evaluation initiative by the state government to improve the quality of school education from classes 1 to 9. Gunotsav assesses schools’ Scholastic, Co-scholastic, Infrastructure, and community participation. The schools based on performance are graded as A+, A, B, C, and D.
How Gunotsav grading are done?
The grading of Gunotsav will be based on the following criteria:
- Scholastic- 90%
- Co- Scholastic and other areas- 5%
- Community Participation & Contributions- 5%
Gunotsav helps identify learning gaps and takes corrective measures to ensure all children meet grade-specific learning goals. The government has made Gunotsav a part of the school’s Academic Calendar, which is conducted in three phases. Gunotsav 2025 has commence from 6 January and will last till 7 February 2025, divided into three phases.
