Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment Notification
The Indian Army has issued an notification on 7 January 2025 for the 65th Short Service Commission (Tech) Men and 36th Short Service Commission (Tech) Women Entry October 2025 Batch Recruitment 2025. There are total of 381 vacancies, where 350 vacancies for men, 29 for women, and 2 for widows of defense personnel.
According to the notification, the online application process for the SSC (Technical) Recruitment 2025 has began from 5th January and will last till February 5 2025. Candidates can apply online through the official website of Indian Army.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2025, candidates must meet specific criteria in terms of educational qualifications, age limits, etc
Education Qualification
- For SSC(Tech)-65 Men: B.E./B.Tech in relevant engineering streams.
- For SSCW(Tech)-36 Women: B.E./B.Tech in specified engineering streams.
- SSCW(Non Tech)-Widows: Graduation in any discipline (Non UPSC).
- SSCW(Tech)-Widows: B.E./B.Tech in any engineering stream.
Note- Final-year engineering students may also apply, and provide the submit proof of qualification by October 2025.
Age Limit
- For SSC(Tech)- 65 Men and SSCW(Tech)- 36 Women: 20 to 27 year as on 01 Oct 2025.
- For Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who Died in Harness Only: A maximum of 35 years of age as on 01 Oct 2025.

Selection Process
The selection process for the Indian Army SSC Tech Entry 2025 has multiple stages.
- First, the applications will be short-listed based on the graduation marks of the candidates.
- The cut-off percentage for each engineering discipline will be set, and candidates not meeting this percentage will not be considered further in the process.
- After shortlisting, candidates will be called for the SSB interview. Once the selection centers are assigned, candidates can choose their SSB dates on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- The SSB interview process consists of two stages: Stage 1 and Stage 2. Those who clear Stage 1 will move on to Stage 2. Candidates who successfully clear both stages will undergo a medical examination.
